Mi A3 Android one Backup with Google Drive

You’ve probably noticed that here at XDA, people tell you to backup your data, more often than anything else. But how exactly do you backup your data? Good question young explorer! When you see that someone recommends that you do a backup, you only have to backup the things you want to save. It’s not always necessary to do a full system backup. We will go over some different options, and you’ll be able to find one that works best for you.

First let’s go over the basic solutions that you can get started on right away. These are simple techniques that don’t require root or any other preparation.

When Xiaomi launched the Mi A1 last year, the company’s tryst with stock Android software was an experiment, but having seen unprecedented success with that device, the phone is now part of Xiaomi’s yearly cycle. Hence, the Mi A2 is an update over its predecessor, and brings a healthy mix of Google and Xiaomi in one phone.

Backing up data is very important if you do not want to lose them at any cost. Backup of valuable data is necessary particularly when you are performing factory reset, rooting your device, installing customs ROMs or migrating data from one Android phone to another. After got your new Xiaomi Mi A2 or A2 Lite, try out the four methods below to make your personal data safe on Xiaomi phone.

Download and install Syncios Mobile Manager on your computer. Turn on USB debugging mode on your Xiaomi Mi A2/A2 Lite. After your Xiaomi Mi A2/A2 Lite is recognized by Syncios program, you’ll find Apps, Contacts, SMS, Media ( Music and Video ), Photos on the left sidebar.

The operations for backing up and restoring data will be different according to the content you want to backup. You can backup your files via Backup/Export button, while restoring your data via Recover/Import/Add buttons. Dropbox is one of the most popular options for cloud storage. For photos and videos, you’ll have the option to upload directly from your camera app. Dropbox is compatible with every filetype there is.
