Have you ever wondered what people search for most on YouTube?
Today, I’m excited to share with you some brand-new data:
Top 100 YouTube searches (US)—a list of the most popular YouTube searches in the US.
Top 100 YouTube searches (Worldwide)—the same data but filtered to show searches outside of the United States too. And with global search volumes.
It’s also worth noting that YouTube’s algorithm is heavily aimed at promoting content channels, not just individual videos. This is why when you finish watching a video, the related and recommended videos tend to be 50% videos from that channel, 40% videos from a partner or related channels, and 10% other trending videos that may be slightly relevant.
YouTube also loves session starts. A session start is when it’s one of your videos that gets a user to land on YouTube, and they stick around to watch other content on the site. When your videos have a large number of sessions that starts from your subscribers – and assumedly in general – YouTube will send more views to all of your videos in general.
We dear some people may find this is impossible, but my videos always go for trending every week, Your Thumbnail is the most important part, it must be uniquely attractive, spend more time on thumbnail only, think deeply, study your viewers, study what your subscribers like to watch, and then boom, upload the video, I do the same, I have 3 channels, I get 10,000 views per hour daily, and when in trending I get 100,000 to 250,000 per hour, that’s pretty amazing for a trending video. Remember this, Take care of your subscribers they are the only key to bringing your video in trending.
When you get 50k views for a video in 12 hours, your video will go in the Trending section, If you keep some clickbait on video, then they will remove your video immediately from the rending section, remember this, I always study the trending section.
Your trending section never goes for Unique videos.
Every so often, a YouTube video goes viral. Try as you might, you cannot force virality. The essence of virality is user generated, passed contagiously amongst video watchers. Daily, more than one billion users collectively watch more than watch hundreds of millions of hours of videos, generating billions of views on the platform localized in 75 countries, available in 61 languages.
Users upload 300 hours of video every minute meaning there’s a whole lot of audio-visual noise. Being found takes a special talent — this is where the art of optimizing your content for the search engine comes in. It takes time to stand out but this can be made easier with tips and tricks.
