Junior DevOps Engineer
Description
A customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps improve providers’ productivity. The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate, maintain, and monitor AWS Infrastructure.
- Participate in Production deployments and infrastructure changes such as quarterly patching and SSL cert rotations.
- Participate in the Automation of IaC and deployment tasks using Ansible.
- Participate in the security of the Cloud/SaaS hosting environments and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to support the delivery of regular software updates while maintaining a high level of availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring quick and effective system management.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience supporting Production workloads in AWS.
- Working knowledge of server, networking, operating system, database, application performance management, monitoring, and alerting systems, load balancing, and security systems.
- Basic experience with AWS Technologies, focusing on EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, and Route 53.
- Basic experience using Bash and Python.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic experience with Linux.
- Basic experience creating automation via Ansible.
- Understanding of Git and GitOps.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Basic experience using Bash and Python.
