Medical tourism ERP software

Our ERP solutions enable seamless patient roaming facility. India’s hospital infrastructure exhibits a bit of a split personality. The public healthcare system often gets brickbats for its pathetic state. Government hospitals are understaffed, badly equipped and overcrowded. On the other hand, there are thriving corporate hospital chains that boast excellent infrastructure, best in class equipment and good doctors – all at substantially lower cost than in the developed world.

The corporate chains have been attracting medical tourists for some time now. From the developed nations, some people come because of either the cost differential or, in the case of the UK, because of the long queues in their own countries. But for a record number of patients from Africa, West Asia and many of the developing Asian nations, Indian corporate hospitals are the best option for getting world-class treatment at somewhat affordable prices.

The Indian government has not been very proactive in tapping the medical tourism sector. Possibly, it has not seen the potential of this industry. But the bigger corporate hospitals are clear that international patients are a lucrative source of revenue, and often better profit margins. They are aggressively wooing these patients, and have fashioned strategies to ease their flow from these countries to India. Alongside, a thriving ecosystem has developed to help patients speak to doctors, find places to stay, and eat food similar to what they get at home.
